ka architecture national firm developer focus

Keeva J. Kekst took a big risk back in 1960. Over five decades later, his decision to take on a special project turned into one of the premier architectural firms in the nation.

Now in its third generation of ownership, KA Architecture is a nationally recognized architecture firm based in Cleveland, Ohio, but it began as a small operation in the sloped roofline attic of the Kekst residence. Kekst was originally a draftsman for a large practice in Northeast Ohio when he was approached to secure payment for a high-risk major new project. After presenting the offer to his boss, Kekst left the company on good terms to pursue the opportunity.

What originally started as Keeva J. Kekst Architects became KA Architecture in the ‘90s. Over the years, the business grew through a group of dedicated, honorable, and intelligent professionals and a philosophy that KA could succeed by truly serving our clients and making their requirements the object of our work. This led to our mission of creating quality architecture in which both our clients and our professionals can be proud of.

The firm’s emphasis on providing value-added design services to clients in a range of marketplaces has resulted in the design of projects throughout North America; these include open-air shopping centers, regional malls, department stores, hospitality venues, corporate offices, multi-family residential, and senior living

At KA, we understand that your real estate investment is more than just a building or a parcel of land. We work with you to understand, articulate, and expand upon your strategic vision to create a project that is more than you envisioned and enhances the end-user experience. Our history is a testament to our ability to satisfy our clients’ ongoing needs, demonstrated by providing architectural services for repeat clients while simultaneously expanding our relationships and partnering with new teams.
