Polaris Fashion Place | Site & Land Planning, Design & Executive Architect

Sophisticated yet intimate, the 1.6MM sf, two-level Polaris Fashion Place is located north of Columbus is home to more than 150 stores, restaurants. When the mall originally opened, it had seven anchors: Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor (now Von Maur), Sears, Lazarus (now Macy’s), Kaufmann’s (now redeveloped space), The Great Indoors (now redeveloped space), and JCPenney.

This attractive regional mall feels warm and non-commercial. Enhanced by wood veneer columns, its corridors are carpeted and interspersed with traditional polished stone and porcelain floor tiles. A palette of rich colors, soft leather furniture, skylights and wall coverings promote the upscale theme while creating a comfortable shopping experience in this high fashion center.

Extensive landscaping designed to reflect the region’s many beautiful golf courses cools and buffers the mall’s 7,400 guest parking spaces.
